[3D Printing Applications] New CPE for Robots

As mentioned in a previous article , the skeleton robot 'Endo' is entirely made using 3D printing. The main body has 74 parts, and the outer shell armor has 22.
All parts were printed using the Ultimaker3 3D printer , and this time we used three different colors and materials of 3D printing filaments for printing.

Almost all of his joints can move freely, allowing him to strike any pose you want, even strange ones, without a single complaint .
Of course, we'll still make sure he strikes a cool pose!

The bright orange outer shell armor is printed using orange Ultimaker PLA . PLA is very easy to print, has high precision, and is not prone to warping.
The robot's main body is made of dark gray Ultimaker CPE , which has high heat resistance, chemical resistance, and stability, and contains less volatile substances, making it a suitable alternative to PLA and ABS.
For the robot's joints, we used black Ultimaker nylon wire. The properties of nylon wire are very suitable for use in the mechanisms connecting parts.
It has high toughness and abrasion resistance.
