[Exhibition News] Makerfaire 2017 Exhibition Concludes Successfully!
The annual MakerFaire, a large-scale event that gathers all kinds of creative makers, was held at Huashan Creative Park from November 4th to 5th this year and has successfully concluded yesterday. Although it was raining and the weather was a bit cool, it did not diminish the number of visitors and their enthusiasm.
Let's take a look at the samples and machines exhibited at 3DMART!

The ball-printing design, which can only be achieved with a dual-nozzle design, uses both PLA and PVA for printing. The orange ball sample (left) after the water-soluble support material PVA is completely dissolved in water, and the blue sample (right) before it is dissolved.
The eye-catching video game character – the imposing Durotan from World of Warcraft – has a ferocious appearance that's actually quite intimidating; you can take a closer look at the details on his body.
As expected of a print made with an Ultimaker 3D printer , it perfectly captures every detail.
This item requires separate printing. With PVA water-soluble filament, it can be easily printed without disassembling the support. Those interested can purchase and download the 3D file here .
The most time-consuming masterpiece, Thor's hammer, seemed to be promoted at the same time as the movie. In fact, it was just a large toy that we printed because we liked it. The printing time was very long. It needed to be disassembled into five print parts. After printing, we had to grind, paint and glue them in sequence. It was a very painstaking work. Sure enough, it attracted a lot of attention at the exhibition, and everyone was eager to take pictures with it.
