Connecting each Ultimaker 3D printer using Ultimaker Digital Factory via a network raises concerns about data leaks, making this even more critical for businesses! The updated firmware can be managed through Ultimaker Essentials. By selecting the "Enable Firewall" option in the menu, you can strictly control network security and block users from other network sources. Static IP remote operation
Enterprise production teams can set a fixed IP address via USB and connect it to WiFi using a static IP address, which allows for more stable and convenient control of each Ultimaker 3D printer , effectively improving the organization's operational efficiency.
1. Download the file ultimaker_network.config (

2. Insert/transfer the file ultimaker_network.config to the Ultimaker S3 / S5 3D printer via USB.
3. In the network menu, select "Setup network via USB", then select "Import from USB" and choose the file ultimaker_network.config.
• Cable selection menu further subdivided: brand, color, material
Previously, users could only select "material type". The interface after the firmware upgrade displays the materials in a more detailed classification. Users can select by "brand", "type", and "color". (In addition to displaying Ultimaker's original 3D printed cables , the parameters of third-party materials downloaded from the Marketplace will also be displayed in detail.)
