One-click arrangement, no manual intervention required.
In the past, when 3D models were placed into Cura, the actual size of the work platform could be previewed in the software, and the stacking position of the objects could be freely configured. However, in order to save production time, when printing more than one object, all objects would be placed in the same workspace for printing at once, and the positions of all models would be adjusted and pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle to make full use of the printing space each time.

After the update, you no longer need to manually adjust. Simply right-click on the 3D object, select "Multiply Selected Model," and enter the print quantity. The system will automatically arrange the position of each model, saving production time for users with small-batch production needs and improving overall efficiency!
In Cura version 4.8, when the printed object is below the workspace base, it will be displayed in gray to clearly distinguish it from the color of the model itself. When adjusting, you can clearly see the part of the object that will actually be printed; the obvious color difference reduces the possibility of setting errors and improves printing stability.
When using older versions of Cura, you first had to select the Ultimaker 3D printer model and start setting all the printheads and parameters before saving the project file. If you wanted to change to another 3D printer model (for example, if all the settings in the original project were to be created by Ultimaker S3 , and you wanted to print the same project file content by S5 ), you had to redo all the settings, which was very time-consuming! Now, when you import a project, the system will pop up a prompt window, at which point you can directly select and change the 3D printer model while keeping the same parameter settings. Users can more freely and flexibly switch between different models of machines for 3D printing .

Moreover, by using Ultimaker Digital Factory, you can now connect and schedule every Ultimaker 3D printer , combining all the features of Ultimaker Connect and Ultimaker Cloud , allowing you to easily and quickly monitor projects and manage the operational status of each 3D printer remotely, no matter where you are.
In Ultimaker Digital Factory, you can easily copy and sort job sequences, and even rename your 3D printer online. To connect a new Ultimaker 3D printer , simply select "Connect" on the device's touchscreen, enter the code from Ultimaker Digital Factory, and you can connect remotely!
