[3D Printing News] Ultimaker Cura 3.2 New Version Released!
The testing phase has ended, and we are very confident in showing you the official version of Ultimaker Cura 3.2 .
In this version of Ultimaker Cura, we've optimized the user interface to reduce the GPU load on backface culling and added new UI elements.
It allows the creation of mesh objects in each model setup, and even just loading the necessary data can further reduce startup time.

Enhanced slicing function
Adaptive layers – Up to now, slicing has been limited to a fixed layer size. Adaptive layers provide an alternative where the layer's print thickness matches the angle of the model's surface.
The slicing algorithm assigns narrower layer thicknesses to inclined surfaces and wider layer thicknesses to vertical surfaces. This achieves high-quality surface processing results, but requires a slight increase in print duration. This setting can be found under the experimental category. 
The color scheme for "Layer Thickness" can be found in the "Layer View" mode, allowing you to preview the thickness of the printed layer.
The colors, from yellow (thickest) to blue (narrowest), indicate the relative thickness of each layer.
Tree-like support is an experimental support method that uses "branches" to "grow" outwards towards the area requiring support, resulting in fewer contact points on the model and a smoother surface. This makes it ideal for organic printing. Tree-like support can also be used in conjunction with other support methods. 
Tree-like supports can be used for objects that form organisms.
UI elements
Multi-Platform Printing. By enabling Multi-Platform Printing in the software preferences, a new panel is added to the workspace, allowing you to manage individual print platforms using shared settings in a single menu. Each individual print platform is added to the Cura Connect print array.
This eliminates the need for multiple clearing of the print platform, allowing for better scaling of operations and maximizing uptime. 
There are slice files for multiple printing platforms in a single menu.
Faster startup - Printer definitions are now loaded when a printer is added, instead of loading all available printers at startup, reducing startup time compared to previous versions.
Mesh settings are added to each model's settings, providing a simplified way to assign model prints as meshes. In custom mode, different slice settings can be assigned to different parts of the print; for example, when a mesh is used as a custom support, the automatically generated support material won't be placed where you don't want it.
The dropdown list allows you to specify the functionality of the grid:
Normal model - Prints the mesh as a normal model.
Print as support – Print the grid as support material.
Don't overlap support with other models - Support material will not be generated in areas where meshes overlap.
Modify settings for overlap with other models - Print the mesh instead of the model in the overlapping mesh area.
Modify settings for infill of other models - the mesh will be printed as fill in the overlapping areas.

This carabiner is a cuboid mesh slice. Select "Modify settings for infill of other models".
The mesh provides greater durability to overlapping areas compared to the rest of the model, which is assigned a denser fill setting.
Backface culling – By rendering only the visible surfaces of the model instead of the entire model, layer views experience significant performance improvements. This noticeably increases frame rates.
It also reduced the GPU load.
The sidebar has been updated to QtQuick 2.0 - the application bar has been updated for improved speed, a more suitable width and style, and provides users with drop-down menus to match the enabled Ultimaker Cura theme, rather than the operating system theme.
Hide the sidebar - You can now do so by selecting View > Expand, Collapse Sidebar, or by using the hotkeys CMD + E (Mac) or CTRL + E.
(PC and Linux) To hide or show the sidebar. This is to have a wider printing platform, making the printing platform more visible on small screens. 
Hide the sidebar for a better view
Disable "Send Slice Messages" - Add a shortcut to disable "Send Slice Messages" on first launch, making it easier for users who need privacy to keep their slice messages private. Clicking the disable button will take users to preferences, where they can edit preferences themselves.
Signed Binaries (Windows) - For security-conscious users, Windows installers and Windows binaries are digitally signed to prevent "unknown application" warnings and false positives from virus scanners.
Each extruder start/end gcode file - now you can view and edit gcode fragments from the start and end variables of two extruders, thus establishing consistency in configuration files across different slicing environments.
View optimization - The Quick Camera controls in version 3.1 have been modified to create more precise isometric views, front view, top view, left view, and right view.

Add OctoPrint plugin to plugin browser This plugin has been moved to the plugin guide. This plugin can be used with OctoPrint via Ultimaker Cura.
Use the interface (version 3.2 or later) to manage the printer.
Fix bugs
With the help of our community, we fixed the incompatible mirroring tools and central model settings, and fixed a bug when the configuration file was located on a remote drive.
The Arduino driver has been updated to prevent updates to the original Ultimaker version, and the automatic arrangement of all models option has been optimized for reliably positioning multiple small models on the printing platform.
