Matterport 3D Scanner can be paired with all iOS devices (e.g., iPhone, iPad) and used with a camera tripod . With just one click, it can quickly 3D scan various spatial sizes and instantly generate a 134-megapixel 3D virtual space.
Each time a 3D scan is initiated, the Matterport 3D scanner rotates on its tripod, completing a 360-degree rotation in 60-degree increments, for a total of 6 rotations. It can scan various areas of an interior space, capturing the most complete details, and finally share the results online via a shared URL.
After completing the 3D panoramic scan, in addition to being able to select points and move within the 3D space, you can also freely switch to dollhouse mode to view the exterior, move freely in interior close-up mode, and view the spatial layout at a glance in plan view; what's special is the built-in MATTERTAGS function, which allows you to label each item in the space individually, and viewers can click on them to view detailed information.
Matterport 's built-in measurement tools allow you to click on any wall, door, or window after a 3D scan, and the system will automatically display the measurement results based on the user's selected area; you can easily grasp the various dimensions of an interior space, so you no longer have to worry about furniture not fitting.
