[New 3D Printing Product] LulzBot TAZ Pro Dual-Head 3D Printer Now Available!

Those who follow Sandima's new products may have noticed that many new items have been quietly launched recently. In the future, we will provide more 3D molding technologies and services, including SLM metal printing , CNC machining , laser engraving machines , etc. Please stay tuned!

Today we're introducing LulzBot's new dual-printhead 3D printer : the LulzBot TAZ Pro , which is now officially on sale. After Ultimaker launched its standalone dual-printhead 3D printer , other manufacturers have been following suit. Although Ultimaker still holds the top spot in terms of print quality, the LulzBot TAZ Pro is a viable alternative in terms of price.

Lulzbot TAZ Pro

The new TAZ Pro is capable of dual-filament 3D printing , capable of printing large objects ranging in size from 280 x 280 x 285 mm. The company's CEO stated, " The TAZ Pro will be the first 3D printer in the series with an independent dual-filament system, featuring two independently heated feed nozzles." The TAZ Pro incorporates hardened steel E3D components into the new 3D printing model, including nozzles with a 360-degree cooling system, to 3D print two filaments into the same part, including the creation of low-hardness prototypes with elasticity and Shore 85A hardness.

Using the hardened steel parts of the TAZ Pro allows for 3D printing with polymers such as water-soluble, conductive, high-strength, and chemically resistant materials. These materials are too abrasive for typical 1.75mm wire diameter 3D printers , but become an extension of printable materials on the TAZ Pro . However, because the Ultimaker S5 has developed a harder ruby printhead for carbon fiber materials, we still recommend checking the hardness before printing special materials to avoid damaging the 3D printer.

The new TAZ Pro 3D printer features a Z-axis belt drive, which reduces cycle time and increases throughput. The belt drive also reduces the impact of Z-axis oscillation, and the new three-axis backlash compensation system improves part quality and precision. In addition, it adds features such as material breakage detection and low filament alerts.

Overall, the LulzBot TAZ Pro boasts enhanced capabilities in handling complex parts and internal mechanisms, adds new features, and features a more intuitive 5-inch full-color touchscreen, placing it close behind Ultimaker . We welcome healthy competition among global 3D printer manufacturers, which drives technological advancement and allows us to offer our customers more high-quality options.
