The yellow semi-circular object shown in the video is an architectural model from the official FormBox video. We can print it out with PLA material using a 3D printer and use it directly.

Since the ceramic heater on top can reach temperatures of over 300 degrees Celsius, please be careful not to touch it directly with your hands to avoid burns. However, under normal use, both handles can be operated smoothly as shown in the video, making it a very safe machine.
In addition, we also photographed another mask model from a different angle. This object was also made using the Ultimaker 3D printer and can be used directly. The most convenient thing is that as long as you follow a similar method, almost every individual can easily make their favorite works and reproduce them infinitely. They are very practical for preservation, mass production and sales, or packaging.

One of the key aspects of vacuum forming is the technical principle that can be considered in the design. There are a total of four small through holes in the grooves at the eye sockets of the mask. This design allows air to leave the pores in the grooves smoothly during the vacuuming process, which makes the shell mold at the grooves fit the surface shape more closely.
FormBox uses two types of raw material sheets, both of which are 100% recyclable. The white sheet is suitable for use as samples for coloring or general packaging, while the transparent injection-molded sheet can be used directly as a food mold. This method is widely used by the British craft chocolate chain Paul A. Young. (Further reading: Craft Chocolate Specialty Store: No Need to Ask for Food Molds! )
Because vacuum forming produces a very seamless finish, the forming effect of the transparent material sheet is almost indistinguishable in photos except for reflective areas; and this effect can be achieved simply by connecting it to a regular household vacuum cleaner, making it very easy to use in general offices, studios, or educational institutions.
