[3D Printing Event] 3D printing technology sharing session – take home a wealth of knowledge!

The 3D Printing Technology Sharing Session hosted by Sandima on December 21st has successfully concluded! What was the event like? What were the key takeaways? Let's take a look!

After signing in, you can sit anywhere. Good seats are first come, first served! Notebooks are available on-site, and we hope everyone leaves with a wealth of knowledge.



We'll have plenty of snacks and drinks to welcome you. We're not worried about you eating, we're just worried you'll get hungry. There's also coffee so you don't have to worry about falling asleep!



Before the event started, everyone who arrived showed great interest in the samples, and some guests had already gotten a sneak peek at our latest Sinterit samples that haven't been released yet. For those who couldn't attend, stay tuned for our upcoming sharing!



There were quite a few guests present this time, almost filling up the reception room of Sandima. Everyone was very supportive!



First, Otsuka Information introduced the functions of Autodesk Inventor software and provided an introductory overview, including its compatibility with other file formats and other compatible software. In addition, they covered the application of various modeling types, manufacturing processes, and basic modeling concepts.



This includes understanding the concept of using 3D software in conjunction with 3D printing for product design, as demonstrated here by the file of our gift – the Heart Lock Box; and the differences between additive manufacturing and traditional manufacturing in component production.






The introduction to 3D printing , in addition to providing detailed explanations of the principles of the three most common molding technologies —SLS laser powder sintering , SLA photopolymerization , and FDM thermal fusion deposition —of course also showcases our various latest printed products.





With the instructor's detailed explanations, everyone gained a better understanding of the characteristics of different technologies for producing 3D printed products. (Further reading: How to choose?! A comparison of common 3D printing methods! )



Finally, a practical demonstration of the 3D printer 's operation will be given, including how to quickly replace the nozzle, the differences between the Ultimaker 3 and Ultimaker S5 inlet ports, and the operation of the touchscreen.



The final Q&A session was incredibly lively, with many in-depth technical questions asked. I, the editor, learned a lot from it!
