[3D Printing Exhibition] Kids and adults alike had a blast! The Kaohsiung Maker Faire has successfully concluded!

The Kaohsiung Maker Faire in Southern Taiwan has come to a successful close. The event was filled with creative hands-on activities and educational science activities. Adults and children alike had a great time. Let's take a look back at the highlights! You can see a lot of welcome posters in front of the Kaohsiung Chung Cheng Martial Arts Hall, and you can watch children's performances on the central stage outside the venue. Everyone gave their all.

There were also stage presentations inside the venue, and Sandima was invited to attend, explaining the technology and science of 3D printing , as well as cases of its application in handicrafts .

Since it's a rare opportunity to exhibit in Kaohsiung, we applied for three booths this time, filling them with exhibits so that everyone can see all three technologies at once (further reading: A comparison of 3 types of 3D printing ).

Not only that, they even brought two Ultimaker series 3D printers , one Ultimaker S5 and one Ultimaker 3 , and actually printed the promotional items on site.

I managed to take photos of the complete exhibits before the official opening. As soon as I entered, people started asking about them, and the children who followed were even more curious and enthusiastic! For any exhibition that Sandima participates in, there are always professional staff on site to provide technical explanations.

Many craft stalls were packed with people. This exhibition featured some small robots and remote-controlled transporters. It's clear that technology is gradually entering schools, and both adults and children know the basic concepts of 3D printers . The speed at which people acquire new knowledge far exceeds that of Sandima's performance in other exhibitions two or three years ago.

We're so glad this Maker Faire has come to a successful close! For those who couldn't attend, don't be sad, we'll continue to plan events and exhibitions in the future; follow our fan page to get the latest news; and the 3D printed items from this exhibition will be surprise guests soon—some of you have already gotten a sneak peek! We'll share more with you shortly, so stay tuned!
