[3D Reverse Engineering] SHINING 3D Releases New Product: A New and Evolved Scanner!
3D scanning expert SHINING 3D has launched its latest generation of multi-functional handheld 3D scanners, including the new EinScan Pro 2X and 2X Plus . In addition to the release of new software called ExScan Pro, both new models come fully bundled with Shining3D 's Solid Edge software. 
"Thanks to feedback from thousands of users and valuable suggestions from SHINING 3D's in-house R&D team, the EinScan Pro 2X and 2X Plus have achieved significant evolutions in scanning speed, accuracy, and functionality," said Oscar Martha, Vice President of Global Sales at SHINING. "We've made major breakthroughs in scanning speed and data accuracy; the EinScan Pro 2X series is designed to enhance high-quality, high-efficiency 3D digital modeling." 
With handheld high-speed scanning, the EinScan Pro 2X and 2X Plus 3D scanners can process up to 1,500,000 dots per second (30 fps), while fixed scanning achieves an accuracy of up to 0.04 mm. Both scanners offer a variety of scanning modes and stitching modes (interlocking the results of a single scan to create an image). Furthermore, both the EinScan Pro 2X and 2X Plus offer plug-and-play installation and are fully compatible with a variety of additional accessories, including a full-color texture camera ( Color Pack ), a fixed scanning tripod and automatic turntable ( Industrial Pack ), and high-resolution accessories ( HD Prime Pack ).
On the software side, SHINING 3D 's newly released ExScan Pro offers faster scan results and a brand-new UI interface and workflow. According to SHINING 3D , using ExScan Pro makes seemingly complex 3D scanning "as simple as shooting a video," and new features also include specifying resolution in the digital processing program. 
Furthermore, both new machines come with another new software: SHINING 3D version Solid Edge, a design tool that integrates CAD, reverse engineering, generative design, and simulation functions. It is the result of a collaboration with Siemens PLM Software.
SHINING 3D states that the new product will significantly improve the efficiency and quality of 3D engineering for designers, engineers, and researchers; and will contribute to fields such as art, medicine, industry, and cultural heritage preservation. 
Customized products can be created by using 3D printers , such as the latest Ultimaker S5 , after scanning the files, effectively saving time and costs. 
SHINING 3D recently unveiled these two new products at Formnext 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, and they are now available for order at 3DMark!
