[3D Print Measurement] Ultimaker 3D Printed Toolbox: Materials, Time, and Video Introduction!

Industrial parts all in one place! This article introduces the Ultimaker 3D printed toolbox, 3D printing filaments, printing process, and production time in detail. We'll summarize the functions of the entire series. Let's see what's inside when you open it:

All the parts and the outer box in the Ultimaker full series toolbox are made with Ultimaker 3D printers. In the video, you can see the parts being stored in the toolbox one by one. The materials used range from common PLA, ABS, and TPU to CPE, PP, and PETG, all presented in an easy-to-understand list. A list of the materials used is also included at the end of the article:

1. Bellow
The bellow, made with Ultimaker TPU 95A, has a smooth, elastic surface and can be twisted and pressed freely. It offers excellent elasticity and high quality. (Check the effect in the video at 01:29)

. 3D Print Time: 1 hour 4 minutes
. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker TPU 95A
. Weight: Approximately 17g

2. Flat Fan Nozzle
The flat fan nozzle, made with Ultimaker PP, has a translucent appearance, and the helical part at the bottom can be disassembled. (Check the effect in the video at 01:36)

. 3D Print Time: 5 hours 48 minutes

. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker PP
. Weight: Approximately 23g

3. Vacuum Gripper

The vacuum gripper is made with Ultimaker PETG/ Ultimaker TPU 95A. The gray structure on top is PETG, and the helical base at the bottom is TPU 95A, which can be freely disassembled and assembled. (Check the effect in the video at 01:43)

. 3D Print Time: 3 hours 28 minutes

. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker PETG/ Ultimaker TPU 95A
. Weight: Approximately 24g

4. Robot Gripper
The 3D printed robot gripper uses three different materials: Ultimaker Nylon/ Ultimaker TPU 95A/ Ultimaker PC. The translucent, detachable structure at the bottom uses Nylon, while the main structure is simultaneously printed with two materials, Ultimaker TPU 95A/ Ultimaker PC, using Ultimaker's dual nozzle. (Check the effect in the video at 01:50)

. 3D Print Time: 4 hours 23 minutes

. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker Nylon/ Ultimaker TPU 95A/ Ultimaker PC
. Weight: Approximately 30.4g

5. Masking Plug
The industrial masking plug is made with white Ultimaker TPU 95A. It is elastic and has a smooth, fine surface. (Check the effect in the video at 01:58)

. 3D Print Time: 50 minutes
. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker TPU 95A
. Weight: Approximately 18.5g

6. Industrial Part (Breakaway Support)
This industrial part is made with red Ultimaker Tough PLA filament. By combining it with Ultimaker Breakaway support filament, it supports overhanging parts, can be easily removed after printing, and keeps the finished model clean. (Check the effect in the video at 02:04)

. 3D Print Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker Tough PLA/ Ultimaker Breakaway
. Weight: Approximately 5.8g

7. Conveyor Comb
The blue conveyor comb is printed using Ultimaker CPE. The comb-like structure at the bottom and the Ultimaker Logo on the surface are finished with excellent precision. (Check the effect in the video at 02:11)

. 3D Print Time: 2 hours 44 minutes

. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker CPE
. Weight: Approximately 26g

8. Threaded COTS Parts
The threaded COTS parts, made with Ultimaker ABS, are finished with high precision, allowing screws to be accurately placed within the part. (Check the effect in the video at 02:16)

. 3D Print Time: 1 hour 59 minutes
. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker ABS
. Weight: Approximately 5.8g

9. Ultimaker Case
For the toolbox that will ultimately house all the series' parts, the upper and lower boxes are printed with blue Ultimaker PLA, and Ultimaker TPU 95A is used for the flexible connection in the middle. This allows the finished product to open and close flexibly, and the front latch can be securely and precisely fastened, keeping tools neatly stored. (Check the effect in the video at 02:22)

. 3D Print Time: 19 hours 19 minutes
. 3D Print Filament: Ultimaker PLA/ Ultimaker TPU 95A
. Weight: Approximately 778g
