Ultimaker Tough PLA Series - 2.85 mm / 0.75 kg

Ultimaker Tough PLA is a high-strength PLA (polylactic acid) with similar strength to ABS, while offering the same safety and ease of use as regular PLA, making it ideal for 3D printing large-scale prototypes and tools.

Application scope:

Greater hardness
PLA has a higher impact resistance than regular PLA, which is closer to that of ABS. Therefore, you can print parts for practical applications, and the finished product has a heat resistance of up to 60˚C.

Suitable for use in large 3D printed objects.
When you need robust, large models, Tough PLA is an easy-to-print and reliable filament – ideal for printing large original parts when used in conjunction with Ultimaker S5 .

It can be used for complex objects.
Tough PLA makes it easy to print objects with complex curves, intricate details, and suspended designs, while using our water-soluble PVA achieves the best results.
