AMS 2 Pro Switching Power Adapter

Overview

When drying multiple filaments simultaneously with several AMS 2 Pro units, an official Bambu Lab switching power adapter is required to power the additional AMS 2 Pro units.
Additionally, when using the drying function with a combination of an X1/P1/A1 series printer and AMS 2 Pro, this power adapter is required for each AMS 2 Pro unit.

For H2D Printer Users:

1. When connecting one AMS 2 Pro:

The H2D printer can directly power one AMS 2 Pro and use its drying function, so an additional switching power adapter is not required.

2. When connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units:

If you wish to use the drying function simultaneously with multiple AMS 2 Pro units, each unit requires its own dedicated switching power adapter.

※Even if only one dryer is connected, if other units are connected, the overall system power will be automatically limited, which may result in insufficient drying performance. To maintain stable drying performance, we recommend using a power adapter.

For X1 / P1 Series Printer Users:

1. When using the drying function:

To enable the AMS 2 Pro's drying function, a dedicated switching power adapter is required to provide sufficient power.

2. When connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units:

If you wish to use the drying function simultaneously with multiple AMS 2 Pro units, please provide a separate switching power adapter for each unit.

3. When not using the drying function:

If you are not using the AMS 2 Pro for drying purposes, there is no need to connect a switching power adapter.

Note:

The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers and supports multi-material printing. An OTA update to enable the AMS 2 Pro drying function for these printers is scheduled to be released by the end of April 2025.
