When to use Ultimaker 3 cleaning filament

The Ultimaker 3 cleaning filament is used for maintenance and unclogging procedures for both print cores. Regular maintenance is recommended every three months. Additionally, perform unclogging if the print core has not extruded material for more than 10 minutes.

How to use Ultimaker 3 cleaning filament

The Ultimaker 3 cleaning filament can be used for cleaning with both hot pulls and cold pulls. Hot pull: If the nozzle is clogged with carbonized material, it is recommended to first clear the print core with a hot pull. Cold pull: When changing materials for printing, residual particles may remain inside the nozzle. In this case, the print core can be thoroughly cleaned with a cold pull.
