No comparison, no appreciation; there's always room for improvement! A new level of detail in finished products – watch the tutorial video now!

I. Unboxing Contents/Assembly
The Snapmaker 10W laser head comes in an all-white box; just holding it in your hand, the texture is different from a cardboard box! After opening the box, use screws to assemble the 10W laser head onto the Snapmaker A350T 3-in-1 3D printer . The box contains:

2. Laser processing materials:
Anodized aluminum 2mm / wood board 5mm / acrylic board 3mm (acrylic fiber)

3. Laser safety goggles
4. Instruction Manual
5. Screw parts box

II. Software Operation
Using the dedicated software Snapmaker Luban, select "Settings" > "Machine Settings," and in "Laser Module," select: 10W laser light, and choose "Three-Axis" laser engraving. (*Four-Axis: Selected for rotary axis curved surface engraving)

'Laser Sculpting Software Settings'
• Set the "Working Dimensions" and "Origin Position"
Insert engraved graphics and images.
Set the size of the object to be sculpted.
Adjust the overall brightness according to the image's lightness and darkness.
Set the working path
1. In "Processing" > "Create Toolpath" / "Preset Configuration", select: Vector Sculpting
2. In the "Processing Method" section, select "Fill"; in the "Move Mode" section, select "Point".
3. Set the laser power (*The power setting will vary depending on the object being sculpted).
Output file / Generate G-Code

'Laser Cutting Software Settings '
Added graphics
Use the graphic tools to add a new cutting shape.
Set the size of the object to be carved.
Set the working path
1. Next > Create Tool Path / Select in "Preset Configuration": Cut Thickness (Video Cutting Example Thickness: 3mm)
Output file / Generate G-Code

III. Laser head autofocus
Using the touchscreen of the Snapmaker A350T 3-in-1 3D printer , select the engraving file in the USB port, choose "Auto Mode," and the machine will measure the material thickness and automatically focus.

*Autofocus Precautions
1. Material thickness must be <50mm
2. Avoid using transparent, glossy, or mirrored materials that are prone to reflection.

Fix the engraving material in the center of the platform and confirm that the "focus red dot" appears on the object's surface. The machine will automatically detect the material thickness and display the result immediately on the touchscreen. Once the material thickness is confirmed to be correct, the system will automatically complete the focusing. Before starting laser engraving, the machine will preview the engraving path with blue light. Use the arrows on the touchscreen to adjust the blue light position until it meets the requirements. The setup involves three steps:

1. Mobile laser engraving center point position
2. Set the carving origin point
3. Run the border preview of the actual path

IV. Actual Measurement of Laser Engraving and Cutting
To protect your eyes, avoid looking directly at the laser light during the laser engraving process. It is recommended to use special protective goggles to monitor the engraving process.

Size: 8.5 x 8.5cm / Power: 100 / Speed: 100 / Total carving time: 52 minutes

【Snapmaker 1.6W Laser Engraving】
