The newly evolved " Beambox II Laser Engraving and Cutting Machine " boasts even more powerful upgrades compared to its predecessor.
Not only does it have a larger working range and upgraded laser power to 55W, making engraving speed more efficient, but it also has many convenient functions. Let's take a look.

Unboxing Beambox II
The all-new Beambox II features significant improvements in overall specifications, such as a 1.5-fold increase in working area (from 40×37.5cm to 60×37.5cm) and a working depth (from 80mm to 125mm), resulting in a larger overall size.
You can see that the original packaging and cushioning measures are very well done.

After unpacking, you can see the power cord interface and the main power switch on the back of the machine.
There is also a silver-textured everyday switch on the upper right side of the device.

There is a USB port on the lower side of the device, which can be used to directly read files for engraving or cutting. The included Wi-Fi connector is very convenient, allowing the device to connect directly to computers, tablets, mobile phones and other devices via wireless network.

An emergency button can be seen on the side of the machine; this is a very important device.
Whether at home, in a studio, or in a factory, safety is of paramount importance.
This button allows users to immediately prevent any situation from worsening if they discover any abnormalities at work.

There are three sets of air supply fans and one set of exhaust fans directly behind the equipment.
During the laser engraving and cutting process, depending on the material, different levels of odor or even harmful gases may be generated.
Extending the ductwork allows internal air to be expelled through the windows, making the work environment safer and more comfortable.
After opening the top cover at the back of the unit, you can see the Beambox II's water cooling system.
If the device displays a water cooling system error, simply add pure water from this location to allow it to continue operating.
There is a touch screen on the top of the Beambox II . This 5-inch screen can be used to operate most of the settings.
When you want to start a task, you can directly access and read files from here, including updates and tests.

After clicking on the screen and entering the device interface's action function, you can test whether each piece of hardware is functioning correctly.
Various functions can be set within the device, or a password can be set to prevent accidental operation.
When the machine malfunctions, tests can be performed from the hardware settings. Perform equipment tests according to the displayed cause of the malfunction to help troubleshoot the problem.

In addition, there is a network setting function. Although many laser engraving and cutting machines on the market support wireless connection, most of them must be pre-set through wired connection before they can use wireless network. Sometimes the connection is unstable.
However, every FLUX device has a fairly stable wireless network connection, and there was absolutely no interruption of the wireless connection during use.

Beambox II offers the option of autofocus or manual focus adjustment, which can be done directly on the device.
To use autofocus, the focus probe needs to be moved downwards and then retracted upwards after focusing is complete.
The autofocus is incredibly convenient, requiring only a single button press. Thanks to the Beambox II's highly accurate autofocus, manual focus is almost never needed, making this creative tool easy for both beginners and experienced users to master.

Beambox II has a very large working window, allowing for a complete and unobstructed view of the internal working area during operation.
This allows operators to have more complete control over the progress, quality, and any abnormalities in the work.

To prevent scorch marks on the bottom of the cut material during cutting, the Beambox II has a very thick honeycomb plate inside.
The Beambox II's extra-large 600x375mm working area allows users to place larger materials, thus opening up more creative possibilities.

The Beambox II laser power has been greatly improved compared to the first generation Beambox , increasing from 40W CO2 to 55W CO2, and the engraving speed has also been greatly improved to 900mm/s.
The newly evolved 55W laser power allows users to cut 18mm cypress wood in one stroke. With the addition of the focal length reduction function, it can even successfully cut 20mm cypress wood.
Acrylic is also capable of being easily cut to a thickness of 20mm, and has a high-quality, clean cut.

Beam Studio
Users can connect to Beambox II through Beam Studio and operate it smoothly on PCs, tablets, or mobile phones.
Beambox II's camera preview function, equipped with the FLUX Lasers built-in camera, allows users to directly preview the actual image of the object, confirm its actual position and cutting status, and the preview speed is five times faster than the previous generation.
With this function, users can precisely align the image to be engraved or cut directly to the desired position, without the need for tedious and precise calculations required by traditional laser engraving and cutting machines.
Beam Studio has built-in sculpting tools for various basic and common materials, which is very convenient.
Users can directly select and use the cutting parameters, and make minor adjustments according to their actual usage.
The function to reduce focal length can be found in the settings menu.
This feature allows the Beambox II to cut deeper than expected by lowering the focal length to get closer to the object.
The Beambox II's maximum sculpting resolution has been upgraded to 1000 DPI, and can be freely selected in the file settings within Beam Studio .

Another important feature in Beam Studio is the red light preview.
If users feel that the image seen through the camera preview is not accurate enough, they can use the red light preview to confirm whether the cutting boundaries are correct.
The Beambox II is also FLUX's first model to feature both red light preview and camera preview functions.
After execution, users can directly see the area where the red light was applied in the work area, ensuring the accuracy of the work to the greatest extent.

In addition, users can check the estimated completion time on Beam Studio.
So if you don't want to inhale the exhaust fumes from the work, you can come back after the time is up.
Users can also bring their laptops or tablets, switch to the camera view, and monitor the work scene in real time from other locations to avoid any issues during work.
Beam Studio also has a powerful feature called automatic alignment, which can automatically detect objects of the same size and intelligently import the pattern in one go.
This feature eliminates the need for tedious alignment settings when repeatedly carving or cutting objects, resulting in greater efficiency.
Expansion Accessories
Beambox II not only boasts powerful native capabilities, but also supports three expansion accessories: wide-area engraving, roller spinner, and gripper spinner.
The wide-area engraving kit opens the front and rear openings of the machine and, when used with the extended laser head, allows users to insert longer materials to create artwork.
The gripper-type rotary axis kit can be paired with an expansion box kit for sculpting thicker objects.
Engraving round objects is also no problem; simply attach the rotating shaft kit and you can easily engrave.
In addition, the gripper kit includes different gripper accessories for replacement, catering to actual user needs.

In our actual testing, both the Beambox II device itself and the Beam Studio software were very intuitive and easy to use.
Whether carving wood or metal, the finished product is very clear and clean, and the whole process is quite smooth and fast.

The launch of the Beambox II laser engraving and cutting machine brings a brand-new upgraded experience to laser engraving enthusiasts.
Compared to its predecessor, this new model has significant improvements in many aspects.
The Beambox II's numerous upgrades make it a highlight in the laser engraving and cutting machine market, bringing users a more efficient and convenient operating experience.
