Desktop vacuum forming machines have always been popular, their lightweight and convenient design allowing you to enjoy the fun of molding at home! Today, SanDiMa will be unboxing the powerful " Vaquform DT2 Vacuum Forming Machine ." Watch the full process below:
The vacuum-formed objects we used in the film were face models printed using an Ultimaker S5 3D printer with PLA filaments, and then processed using an alcohol polishing machine .
The 3D model's surface has no obvious sharp edges, which is challenging in terms of fit and detail, but it also makes us even more eager to see the results of the Vaquform DT2's actual test!
Vaquform DT2 comes with a wide variety of material sheets. This time, we chose to use two vacuum forming material sheets : 0.5mm HIPS (white) and 0.5mm PETG (transparent) for plastic molding instruction.
The biggest difference between Vaquform and FormBox is that Vaquform DT2 's digital screen displays all functions graphically, making the operation steps simpler and clearer. Before starting heating, you can set the heating temperature, material sheet material, suction strength, thickness, etc., according to your needs. Even a 1°C difference in precision can be manually adjusted, greatly improving the integrity and detail precision of the mold.

The ceramic heater inside the Vaquform DT2 can reach a maximum temperature of 280°C. Be extra careful not to touch it during the heating process to avoid burns. Follow the steps to use the handle correctly, and you can get started easily and safely!
The Vaquform DT2 comes with a built-in vacuum pump function, handling all vacuum forming functions in one machine; after vacuum forming of a realistic 3D printed face model, the surface texture of the finished product is extremely detailed.
The desktop Vaquform DT2 high-airflow vacuum machine can create industrial-grade shrink-molded plastic objects. By following simple steps, anyone can endlessly replicate their creations, making it ideal for mass production and packaging. Want even simpler applications?
