II. Installation and Use
Choose a flat location that can support the weight of the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer (approximately 50 kg) and have at least two people lift and install it together.
Install the Ultimaker S5 3D printer
1. First, open the packaging of the Ultimaker S5 and remove all accessories from inside the 3D printer .
2. Remove the clip from the equipment and insert the remote feed tube (Bowden Tube).
3. Secure the Bowden Tube with a clamp.
4. Insert the 3D printing wire into the remote feed tube (Bowden Tube).
5. Open the glass door and the panel clamp.
6. Place the glass plate into the work platform and close the glass door.
Install Air Manager
Please turn off your Ultimaker S5 3D printer before proceeding with the installation.
1. Align the mounting bracket with the back of the Ultimaker S5 .
2. Install the feed tube and nozzle cable into the slot (feed tube in front).
3. Gently press the bracket until it clicks into place securely.
4. Align the bottom of the filter housing with the slot in the mounting bracket and push it into place.
5. Push the filter into the filter housing.
6. Place the cover on the filter housing from the front of the 3D printer.
7. Align the clips and mounting brackets and then snap them into place.
8. Connect the Air Manager power cord to the socket on the back.
9. Connect the clips secured to the mounting bracket to the Air Manager power cord.
10. Slide the clip upwards to secure the wire.
11. Place the Air Manager cable on the right side of the spool holder and insert it into the UMB OUT connector on the back of the Ultimaker S5 .
12. Use the cable clip to connect the Air Manager cable to the Ultimaker S5's NFC cable.
Initial installation steps:
1. Start the Ultimaker S5 3D printer .
2. Use the Ultimaker S5 touchscreen to select and install the latest device: Air Manager.
(The Ultimaker S5 touch interface will guide you through all the steps.)
* Air Manager will only start when you turn on the Ultimaker S5 3D printer .
Install a smart material station .
The recommended storage temperature for the intelligent material station is 15-32°C (59 – 90°C). When using it, please place the equipment in a cool place to avoid direct sunlight. There should be at least 10 cm of space behind the material station to ensure air circulation.

1. Place the Ultimaker S5 on top of the Material Station . During installation, at least two people should lift the Ultimaker S5 3D printer .
2. Insert the feed clamp into each feeder of the Ultimaker S5.
3. Insert the left bowden tube into the corresponding paper feeder on the left, and the right bowden tube into the corresponding paper feeder on the right.
4. Secure the Bowden Tube at the distal end with a clamp.
5. Insert the spool bracket cover into the Ultimaker S5 connection hole.
6. Connect the feed station cable to the UMB IN port on the back of the equipment (and simultaneously connect the Air Manager cable to the UMB IN port on the back of the Material Station ).
7. Insert the connecting cable into the UMB OUT port on the back of the Ultimaker S5 .
8. Connect the Material Station to the Ultimaker S5 using the power cord.
9. Connect the power cord to the Material Station and the other end to a power outlet.
The intelligent material station can effectively control the humidity of the space. When loading the cable, please avoid keeping the glass door open for a long time. Before starting 3D printing , please make sure the glass door is completely closed again.
Initial installation steps:

4. Use the Ultimaker S5 touchscreen to select and install the latest equipment: Material Station.
(The Ultimaker S5 touch interface will guide you through all the steps.)
* The Material Station will only start when you start the Ultimaker S5 3D printer .
Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D Printer - Device Connection Hole
1. UMB OUT connector for connecting the " Air Manager " and the "Material Station".
2. Connect one end of the cable to the UMB IN port of the " Material Station " and the other end to the UMB OUT port of the " Ultimaker S5 3D Printer ".
3. Connect the power extension cord to the Ultimaker S5 3D printer and the Material Station.
4. Connect the power cord to the "Material Station" and the "Power Outlet".
