[3D Printing News] Ultimaker Competition Awards Ceremony - Wanli Junior High School

Ultimaker previously held an educational challenge competition to encourage 3D printing education. One of the winners was Wanli Junior High School. We held a special award ceremony and took the winner's prize, an Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer and 3D printing cables, to Wanli Junior High School.

On the day of the awards ceremony, we started with a presentation on 3D printing technology to the 8th grade students. We explained how to use a 3D printer and how 3D printing technology can be applied, so that the students could better understand the knowledge related to 3D printing and get started more quickly in the following 3D printing courses.

Everyone listened attentively to the detailed introduction given by our handsome boss from Sandima.

After the speeches, the formal awards ceremony began!

The award was accepted by Luo Guocheng, the principal of Wanli Junior High School. We presented him with an original certificate and an adorable Ultimaker robot trophy.

The prize is an Ultimaker2+3D printer and multiple rolls of 3D printing consumables.
Wanli Junior High School was also very kind in returning the award certificates and thank-you cards, expressing their gratitude for organizing the competition. Throughout the entire award ceremony, the students participated enthusiastically, and afterwards, they even rushed forward to shake hands and take photos with the organizers!

After the awards ceremony, we went to the computer lab at Wanli Junior High School to actually turn on the Ultimaker 3D printer and teach people how to use it.

At the same time, I communicated with Zhang Gengsheng, the information technology teacher, about the teaching methods of 3D printing, and learned how the teacher would guide students to operate and use the machine.

This competition organized by Ultimaker was truly educational and provided us with a very fulfilling 3D printing technology exchange activity.

The picture above shows the principal of Wanli Junior High School presenting a certificate of appreciation to the owner of Sandima and taking a group photo.
3dmart hopes to raise awareness of 3D printing among more schools and promote 3D printers to more schools. They also plan to explore promoting 3D printing education in the future, so please stay tuned!
