What could be better than spending a long summer with your furry friends?
This summer, we invite you to participate in the Snapmaker Pets & Passionate Summer Short Film Contest: Use your Snapmaker to create pet toys, accessories, or cat portraits to hang in your beach hut—anything pet-related!
The artwork can be a unique design you create yourself, or a simple design downloaded from the internet. 3D printing , laser cutting/engraving , and CNC engraving are all great ways to enjoy time with your pet in the sun!
The competition will take place from 11:59 PM Hawaii time on July 17 to August 8.

The content and format are both open-ended! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity and win a wonderful gift!
• Video length should be less than 60 seconds. • Video format should be vertical.
• Upload videos of your pets and passions to YouTube Shorts using the hashtag #snapmakersummer , then submit the video link to the Gleam widget !
• Ensure that over 80% of the components in your work are created using Snapmaker machines. • Submission deadline is 11:59 PM Hawaii time on August 8, 2024.
Please be sure to highlight the design and ideas behind your creation, as well as the final product, to increase your chances of winning!
🎁 Prizes
The top 3 participants will receive the following prizes:
• Snapmaker provides 1 year of pet insurance for 1 dog or 2 cats with reimbursement through selected insurance companies and plans.
• One Snapmaker test pilot helmet signifies that the recipient has registered for the Snapmaker test pilot program (they will be testing new Snapmaker products during the prototype phase!).

The company will invite contributors to the Snapmaker user community, the community moderator team, and a small number of Snapmaker team members to participate in the voting process within a specified time. Snapmaker will select 3 winners, one in each of the following categories:

• Best Performance Award: Which furry (or feathered or scaled) friend do you think gave the best performance?

• How are the winners selected?
The winners were selected based on the above evaluation criteria. Films will also be screened for validity according to the same rules.
How do I know if I have won?
Snapmaker will announce the results on its website and official social media accounts on Tuesday, August 20, and will also send emails to the winners.
• If I win, how do I claim my prize?
Snapmaker will contact you using the email address you used to log in. Please reply to claim your prize.
What if I upload the wrong video link?
You can contact Snapmaker via social media or social@snapmaker.com and they will help you reset your entry.

🔧Terms and Conditions
• Regarding pet insurance: This will be decided in collaboration with the winner to determine which company and plan is best suited for their pet. Snapmaker will reimburse one year of pet insurance, up to $1,000.
• Regarding the helmet: Please note that the helmet design in the prize poster is for promotional purposes only, and the actual helmet may not match this description.
• Winning entries will be announced on August 20th, and winners will be contacted via the email address they used during registration. Snapmaker will arrange for winners to receive their desired prizes via email and will make every effort to contact them. However, if multiple attempts to contact the winners within a week or longer fail to result in a response, the prize will be awarded to the next highest-scoring submission that has not yet received a prize.
By submitting your entry, you authorize Snapmaker or anyone acting on behalf of Snapmaker to edit, publish, distribute, and use your submission worldwide for any purpose without further notice, review, or consent. However, Snapmaker will guarantee your attribution, and your name will be credited.
