[3D Printing Lab] DIY 3D Handmade Candles

Advances in 3D printing machines; the versatility of 3D materials; what fields can 3D printing actually be applied to?
Today we'll teach you how to use these innovative technologies to add fun to your everyday life!
Let's make our own handmade essential oil candles!

Do you remember PolySmooth™, a new product launched by 3DMART using Polymaker?
Did they create a huge Spider-Man head?

If you've already forgotten, click on Spider-Man's head to review!

(Hurry up and get your paper and pen ready to copy this down) ✎✎✎ )

(1) About 3 kg of silicone was prepared.                                 (2) Enclose the model with corrugated plastic sheeting. (3) Slowly pour silicone into the mold while adding the hardener.

The silicone hardened in about a day, and then I carefully cut it open from both sides with the flat side of a knife.
Remove the Spider-Man head from inside and let's start making our own candles !

(4) Heat the beeswax in a water bath. (5) Then add your favorite wax filaments.

(6) Don't be lazy while heating! Stir evenly until the wax is completely melted.

(7) Cool the wax to about 73 degrees Celsius after it is completely liquid.                         (8) Choose your favorite essential oil~~~                          (9) We selected lemongrass essential oil and mixed it evenly with wax.

(10) Insert an iron rod into the center of the mold (to reserve the candle wick).                 (11) Slowly pour the wax into the mold.                              (12) After the wax is poured, use popsicle sticks to fix the position of the iron rod.

Remember not to waste any leftover wax by throwing it in the trash!

You can collect the wax from each batch and make tiered candles!

(13) Very quickly! The wax solidified in about a day.          (14) Gently and slowly remove the iron bar.

(15) Then you can carefully take out the finished product.

Ta-da!!! A Spider-Man head candle is finished!

at last

(16) Choose a candle wick you like.                                  (17) Slowly insert the candle wick into the pre-drilled hole.                      (18) Leave an appropriate length of wick and you're all done!

Making your own candles and enjoying the beautiful scenery is a truly delightful experience.

Let's all gather together for a photo!

Using a high-quality Ultimaker 3D printer to print with PolySmooth™ material, and then placing it in a PolySher alcohol polisher for surface treatment, you can have your own favorite model to make candles!
