[3D Printing News] Polymaker's Latest Product Introduction
Since returning from the TCT Asia 2018 3D Printing Exhibition in Shanghai , SanDiMa has obtained information on many manufacturers' new products and will continue to update and launch the latest products in the near future. This time, we would like to introduce to you a series of products launched by Polymaker, which is known for its alcohol polishing machines, including many new cables and moisture-proof boxes to protect cables from moisture - Polybox.
Those who use FDM 3D printers may have encountered a common problem: dealing with some moisture-sensitive filaments (such as Polysmooth, PVA water-soluble, nylon, TPU, etc.). We usually store them in a dehumidifying box when not in use to prevent the filaments from absorbing moisture, but when printing for extended periods, it is impossible to avoid exposure to air and moisture.
Polymaker's new Polybox solves this problem in one go. By placing the cable inside the Polybox, temperature and humidity can be monitored, and the cable can be pulled out directly from the box for 3D printing. This eliminates the need to frequently change the cable when printing, allowing you to print with peace of mind without worrying about moisture.
Next is a brief introduction to Polymaker's main series of 3D printing filaments!
This time, a total of five 3D printing consumables of different materials were launched: PolyMide CoPA , Polylite ABS, Polylite PLA , PolyFlex, and Polysupport.
PolyMide CoPA was introduced in a previous article , so I won't go into detail here.

Polylite ABS and Polylite PLA are the most common materials used in FDM 3D printing. Maintaining Polymaker's high-quality filaments, and importantly, the price is incredibly affordable!!!

PolyFlex is a 3D printing filament with excellent elasticity. Similar to TPU, it is an essential material for creating soft and flexible objects. You don't have to worry about the parts breaking easily, and it can adhere to the platform without heating it during printing.
Polysupport is a type of support 3D printing filament. Unlike PVA water-soluble filaments that require soaking in water to dissolve, Polysupport is an easily disassembled support with a fairly smooth removal surface, similar to the Ultimaker breakaway filament we introduced before. However, this particular model is currently priced at 1.75.
mm wire diameter; if 2.85mm is required, you can purchase a Breakaway cable .
These are the new products launched by Polymaker this time. Among all the products, the Polybox is the most interesting one for me, and I feel it will be very practical in actual use!
( It's the perfect tool for lazy people who don't want to change cables~~~)
