Starting today, all 3D printing experts can officially use the latest version of Ultimaker Cura 4.1. The official version has improved this powerful 3D slicing software into a simple and intuitive interface, easily utilizing cloud connectivity, Ultimaker material parameter settings, and supporting a wider range of special 3D printing filaments. It can be downloaded for free regardless of whether your system is Windows, Mac, or Linux. Thanks to user feedback from the Cura 4.1 trial version, the official version makes pre -3D printing work even smoother. Here's an introduction to its features:

Free Panel
The new Cura 4.1 allows you to place the settings panel anywhere in the 3D preview screen , eliminating the need to constantly rotate the view to avoid blind spots. Double-tapping the panel title will automatically return it to its original position. You can also freely switch between custom modes without affecting the original user experience.
The new Ultimaker Cura will offer a new guided process with a more integrated look and feel. These step-by-step instructions will help you understand how to add a 3D printer , adjust basic settings, and learn about Ultimaker Cloud, among other features.
To help users access material information and maximize 3D printing quality, a small book icon will appear next to the selected material, guiding you to view detailed online information. This will help professional engineers understand the material's properties, or you can refer to our 3D printing filament comparison guide used in our teaching.
(The spiral support was designed specifically for water-soluble PVA materials, but the new version is easier to grip even when using non-water-soluble materials.)

The Ultimaker Marketplace option links to suppliers and parameter files in the Ultimaker Materials Program, making it easier to purchase and use the special materials you need. When there are updates to plugins or print profiles in the Marketplace, the Marketplace button and installed plugin options will display notification icons, allowing you to always have access to the latest version and features.
