First, we used the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer to print a mask model. Since everyone's face shape is different, the model size can be adjusted according to needs. This time, we used BotFeeder PLA translucent white filament . Although the Ultimaker 3D printer is an industrial model, it can also use open source materials.
After 3D printing the face mask model, using the FormBox vacuum forming machine and transparent injection molding material sheets , the face mask can be replicated infinitely. Pressing down to form a vacuum-formed face mask takes only 3 seconds, making production incredibly fast and ensuring the material sheets fit the model size perfectly, resulting in proportionally accurate face masks.
