[3D Scanning Engineering] Reverse Engineering Test: Monsters and Their Models!
Since the launch of the SanDiMa Refurbishment Opportunities series, it has been almost sold out. This time, the customer brought us a super exquisite and complex model, which allowed us to showcase our skills. Now we will share this exquisite model and the results of our scanning and testing with you.
This character has many exquisite and frightening details, and is like an extremely difficult zombie boss to defeat, making people think of Diablo or Resident Evil.

The photographs reveal incredibly lifelike surface textures. The character features sunken, scabbed eye sockets, prominent horns, crisscrossing muscle tissue, and prominent veins. And this character is just one of many complex pieces from 13ART Studio . 
Even the folds in the ear canal and the spinous process at the back of the head are fully presented, and even the cross-section at the bottom is meticulously detailed. I couldn't help but touch my own neck and feel a little sore. 


What will the results be like with such a complex character model through 3D scanning ? Will the Einscan Pro+ 3D scanner be accepted by the artist?
We put the 3D scanned image into 3ds Max to view the imaging effect. The frontal eye socket image is clear, and the prominent brow bone and the muscle tissue in the eye socket are also illuminated.
Although we've provided 3D scanning services for many clients, such a detailed and complex figurine is extremely rare, and the engineers were eager to try it themselves when they saw it. The outline of the ear canal and teeth are fully rendered from the side, and even the protrusion of the veins is scanned! 

The key cross-section at the bottom is also not to be missed; the cross-section and depressions of the bone are very clear. 

Through this simple reverse engineering, you can print 3D scanned files using the Ultimaker 3D printer simply by putting them into Cura! This is how we imaged the latest version of Cura 3.6. The red part is the suspended part, which automatically forms support material without the need for additional modeling. These tools make the 3D printing process easier and more convenient.
