[Hands-on Video] Wisely Fiber Laser Marker: A Comprehensive Guide to Rotary Axis Engraving!
Achieve engraving on cylindrical metal objects and beautiful rotary carvings! The "Wisely Fiber Laser Marker" has arrived at 3DMart. We performed an unboxing and hands-on testing, thoroughly verifying the actual processing combined with the rotary axis. Watch our video for detailed operation instructions:
1. Power-on Procedure
The Wisely MOPA Fiber Laser Marker unit has three switches. Start them in the following order:
1. System Emergency Stop Button
2. Power: Turn the key to the right
3. Red Lamp Button

Next, check the three "Lens Specification" switches on the side of the marking machine body. Activate the switch corresponding to the lens you are using. For this test, we used a 150 x 150mm lens and then opened the lens protective cover.
1. Lens Specification 1: 200 x 200
2. Lens Specification 2: 150 x 150
3. Lens Specification 3: 100 x 100

2. Focus Adjustment
Use the included focus gauge, place it vertically on top of the workpiece, and measure the distance to the reference line. Turn the top rotating axis to adjust until the gauge reaches the designated position. The line above the finger icon is the "focus distance reference line." Stand the gauge vertically against the workpiece, measure upward to confirm the distance to the reference line, and adjust to the specified distance to complete the focus adjustment.

・Focus Distance Reference Table
| Lens Specification | Distance to Focus Reference Line |
| 200 x 200 | 433mm |
| 150 x 150 | 339mm |
| 100 x 100 | 283.5mm |
3. Software Operation
Load the data for the object to be laser marked, edit or modify it according to the intended use, and adjust the position and various setting values.
1. Hatch Fill Tool
2. Modify > Transform: Rotate or adjust the position of the object as needed
3. Laser > SplitMark2: Set the size of the object to be engraved with the rotary axis
4. Click "Parameters": Set the diameter of the workpiece under "Rotary Axis" > "Work Diameter"
5. Click "Red Light" to preview the marking position
6. Click "Engrave" to start laser marking

For this session, we performed metal laser engraving on a stainless steel cylinder. When we engraved a pattern with a size of 4.5 x 10cm, the finish was exceptionally beautiful. We achieved excellent results in both resolution and precision, with a total processing time of 20 minutes.

What did you think of our hands-on results? We have previously introduced various processing examples of desktop metal marking machines (click here). 3DMart offers more than just 3D printing. Please feel free to contact us to learn more about the Wisely Fiber Laser Marker.
