The Snapmaker 3-in-1 3D Printer comes in four models: Snapmaker Original and Snapmaker 2.0 (A150 / A250 / A350), all of which support 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC machining. This time, we'll be using the Snapmaker 2.0 A350 to test its capabilities!
Each model is equipped with a touchscreen that automatically displays the progress of your project in percentages. Simply follow the on-screen instructions for easy operation, and even perform automatic calibration with a single button.
The Snapmaker primarily consists of three interchangeable modules, making it compact and easy to reconfigure. First, we installed the 3D printing module and 3D printed a muscular Pokémon, "Drilbur" (16.5 × 11.5 × 10cm). After printing, simply remove the support material, and you'll have a smooth object with fine, beautiful layer lines.
After swapping out the module and work platform, we then tested the performance of laser engraving. We secured a wooden board and engraved the intricate details of a cute cat (6 × 10cm). We were able to precisely engrave fluffy fur, delicate gradations, and even its moist, large eyes. The finished product is astonishingly beautiful and high-quality!
Finally, we used the third module, CNC, to test its performance by milling chemical wood (machining size: 9 × 5cm). It produced sharp and smooth contours in a short amount of time, and after simply cleaning up the chips, we could see the beautifully finished details. Furthermore, using the Snapmaker series dedicated enclosure allows you to shield the external environment during operation, maintaining stable work and a clean working environment.
