Over 100 new icons further enhance usability
The latest version of Ultimaker Cura adds over 100 new icons, unifying them with the icon design used across the entire Ultimaker platform. These icons are simple, easy to understand, and intuitively represent their associated functions. Users can easily grasp the corresponding functions just by looking at the images, experiencing a more comfortable slicing operation. This also gives Ultimaker Cura a stylish and modern design and user experience.

Furthermore, the "zoom" function has been improved for better usability. For example, when the Ultimaker Cura window is minimized, icons automatically adjust, effectively reducing visual clutter. Warning and alert messages have also been redesigned with intuitive color schemes, making them easier for users to understand.

The Ultimaker Digital Library in Ultimaker Cura 4.11 further simplifies the workflow. You can now connect to and operate the Ultimaker Digital Library directly from Ultimaker Cura, allowing collaboration with each user of the Ultimaker 3D printer used within your team.

1. Directly open the "Digital Library" database
Users can select "From Digital Factory" from the menu in the top left corner of the Ultimaker Cura page to directly view files within the Digital Factory.

2. Quick search by keyword
By using the "Search" function (file name, tag, description) within the Digital Factory item list, you can easily find the desired file.

These features are also compatible with Ultimaker Cura 4.10 and are particularly useful for Ultimaker Cura Enterprise users.
Additionally, you can download more resources from the
Ultimaker Marketplace.

New top/bottom order settings allow users to create 3D printed models with smoother, more uniform surfaces. This is particularly effective for parts where aesthetics are important (e.g., appearance prototypes) or where a smooth surface is required (e.g., touch-sensitive components).

Detailed updates, commitment to quality
Ultimaker Cura 4.11 also includes the following minor feature improvements:

All profiles for third-party materials (and materials obtained from the
Ultimaker Marketplace can be saved to a USB drive to manually update the material list of your 3D printer.
Compatible with all Ultimaker S-series
3D printers for easy offline use.

The "Notifications" feature can be set as needed to alert you to updates for new
Ultimaker Cura versions.

Cura 4.11 also supports third-party 3D printers.
Even if you don't own an Ultimaker 3D printer, you can easily use Ultimaker Cura slicing software.
