After actually testing it on a go-kart track, the finished product fit so perfectly that it was indistinguishable from the genuine article!!! There's no need to worry about the GoPro base losing its adhesive strength.

Using the Shining EinStar 3D Full-Color Ultra-High-Speed Scanner, we reproduced the top part of the helmet and the GoPro base, and also scanned the high-definition color details of the entire helmet.
Next, we'll use Autodesk Meshmixer to combine the top part of the helmet and the GoPro base.
Finally, 3D print the finished data, and it's done!!
