Maker Faire Tokyo 2026 Event Report | 3DMart connects ideas with manufacturing through professional 3D printing technology
From September 5th to 6th, 2026, Maker Faire Tokyo 2026 was held at Tokyo Ariake GYM-EX, bringing together makers, creators, engineers, designers, and technology enthusiasts from all over Japan once again.
3DMart (San Di Ma) also participated in this major maker event in Japan, showcasing 3D printers from Bambu Lab, Snapmaker, and Formlabs at booth "SP-05-02." We engaged directly with the Japanese maker community through live demonstrations and on-site interactions.

Bambu Lab: Making 3D Printing Part of Creation
For makers, one of the great appeals of 3D printing is its ability to quickly transform digital designs into tangible objects.

Snapmaker U1: Reimagining multi-color, multi-material printing
This time, 3DMart particularly highlighted the Snapmaker U1 among the Snapmaker products on display.
The U1's biggest feature is its four independent toolheads, which switch using the SnapSwap™ system. Each toolhead can be pre-loaded with different materials or colors, with a switching time as fast as approximately 5 seconds.
Compared to conventional multi-color printing, which required frequent filament changes through a single nozzle, the U1's design offers a new solution for multi-color and multi-material printing.
Furthermore, with four independent toolheads, it becomes possible to combine model materials and support materials, or to utilize different material properties to combine parts with different functions, by selecting different materials for each area.

By bringing the U1 to Maker Faire Tokyo, 3DMart allowed visitors to directly experience this new style of multi-material printing solution.
Formlabs: From Maker Creation to Professional Manufacturing
If Bambu Lab and Snapmaker U1 demonstrate the potential of FDM 3D printing in creation and multi-material applications, then Formlabs symbolizes another direction: high-precision, professional stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing.
Formlabs has been deeply committed to SLA 3D printing technology for many years, and it is widely used in product development, engineering prototypes, manufacturing jigs, consumer goods, and small-batch production.
Among them, the Form 4 utilizes Low Force Display™ (LFD) print technology, featuring a 50 μm pixel size and a highly consistent optical system, pursuing fine detail, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy. According to official data, many print jobs are completed within 2 hours.
