[360° Scan User Guide] Matterport's New Feature: Protect Privacy with One Tap!
The Blur Brush feature is now even more convenient! With the Matterport Pro2 3D Space Scanner, sharing 3D spatial data online is easy. The new "Blur Brush" feature allows you to manually blur important information to protect privacy and confidently publish your data. Watch the video to learn how to use it.
What was your most desired Doraemon secret gadget as a child? While the Take-copter was appealing, the technology that could make the "Anywhere Door" a reality is 360° spatial scanning. Indoors or outdoors, you can transform any space into a virtual environment with a single click. Matterport offers a variety of customization features, including actual measurement, labeling, annotations, navigation settings, and image output. However, when you share a space, the information within the room is published as is on the internet. How can you protect sensitive information such as people's faces, vehicle license plates, passwords, confidential documents, or the location of a safe, if they happen to be captured?
1. Where to find the Blur Brush
1. Log in to your Matterport account (here)
2. From the user icon in the top right, select "Settings" > "Manage."
3. Enable the "Blur Brush" feature.
4. Click "Spaces" and select the space you want to edit.
5. Click "EDIT" in the top right to enter edit mode.

6. Click the "Blur" icon (raindrop symbol) at the bottom of the right sidebar.

2. How to use the Blur Brush
1. Open the virtual tour screen of the space you want to edit.
2. Click "Create Blur" at the bottom of the screen to enable the blur brush.

3. Adjust the brush size. You can change the blur radius by moving the slider.

4. Click and drag your mouse over the object you want to blur, and it will be blurred.

(With Blur Brush, the longer you apply the brush, the stronger the blur.)
