Bambu Lab last night officially announced the H2D Pro 3D printer, featuring new network security capabilities. This system includes the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, and is positioned as the "enterprise" model of the Bambu Lab H2D.
The new product retains all the 3D printing capabilities of the H2D while enhancing network security to meet the rigorous requirements of professional manufacturing.
Note that the H2D Pro does not include the laser or blade cutting modules found in the H2D's full laser combo system. However, both are supported as upgrades, allowing for the addition of laser engraving or cutting functions if needed.

New network security features include WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi authentication (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS) for seamless integration into secure corporate networks. The 3D printer also supports 802.1X network access control, requiring authentication before connecting to the network. This ensures compatibility with identity-based corporate IT infrastructure and adds a robust layer of defense to effectively prevent unauthorized access.
For environments prioritizing stability, Bambu Lab has equipped this printer with an Ethernet port to provide a reliable wired connection. This maintains stable performance in Wi-Fi congested environments and supports full-duplex communication up to 100 Mbps.
The Bambu H2D Pro is also equipped with a physical network cutoff switch, allowing users to instantly disconnect, prevent unnecessary connections, and meet strict security standards. Furthermore, it adopts a fully removable network module, which enhances peace of mind and strengthens protection against intrusions by allowing the network hardware to be physically removed.
On the hardware side, this new 3D printer marks the debut of two new Bambu Lab products: a high-performance toolhead cooling fan and a highly durable tungsten carbide nozzle.
The Shenzhen-based OEM also announced the launch of an integrated enterprise support service. Through this service, Bambu Lab provides personalized assistance to companies and institutions looking to integrate 3D printers into their operations. According to the H2D Pro product page, Bambu's "specialized software R&D team" works directly with customers to develop unique printer fleet management tools tailored to internal workflows and technical requirements.
Prior to this, the Bambu Farm Manager was released last month. This is a local network management software that allows for full control of multiple Bambu Lab 3D printers without connecting to the cloud. Currently, the platform supports P1, A1, and X1C 3D printers, with H2D support planned for Q4 2025.

Bambu Lab Announces the New H2D Pro
Bambu Lab's new 3D printer is primarily targeted at corporate R&D, education, and small-batch production.
The H2D Pro's new high-performance cooling fan is integrated into the front cover of the toolhead. This fan cools the extruder and hotend heatsink during 3D printing, and with intelligent temperature control, helps suppress clogs and filament jams. As a result, the recommended operating temperature is 3°C higher than that of the H2D.
Bambu Lab's latest 3D printer also features the new tungsten carbide nozzle. Its hardness reaches HRA 90, significantly exceeding the HRA 74 hardness of the H2D's hardened steel nozzle. This extends its service life by 50% when using highly abrasive fiber-reinforced materials.
According to this Chinese 3D printer manufacturer, the new toolhead fan and tungsten nozzle are also compatible with standard H2D models. Following necessary firmware updates and the product's release, these two accessories are scheduled to be sold in the official Bambu Lab store in Q4 2025.
