1. Preparing Materials and Tools
Included accessories for the 3devo Composer 450: filament spooler, hopper, nozzle parts, and filament material. Attach the material hopper to the intake, and feed the material pellets into the intake through the hopper. Afterward, attach the assembled take-up unit for the 3D print filament.
2. Screen Operation
Use the digital display and dial to finely adjust production conditions. Set the temperature for the heating zones according to the type of filament being produced and the melting point of the material. You can also set the desired diameter for the 3D print filament (choose between 1.75mm/2.85mm). The display shows the heating temperature in real-time during the heating process, and filament production begins once heating is complete.
3. Filament Feeding Procedure
Open the front cover of the main unit to start producing filament. Hold the extruded, solidified filament with a tool, and while pressing the switch on the fixed roller, insert the filament into the roller. Secure the filament firmly between the rollers (Caution: the filament will be hot at this stage, so please be very careful when working). Finally, cut the filament with needle-nose pliers and pass the 3D print filament through the intake. Once you thread the filament through the fixation hole on the spooler and attach it, you can begin the filament production process.
