PolyMide™ CoPA Nylon (Black)
PolyMide™ CoPA is a copolymer of nylon 6 and nylon 6,6. The wire exhibits excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance up to 180°C.
Similar to other nylon materials, PolyMide™ CoPA is highly sensitive to humidity. We recommend using the material in conjunction with PolyBox™ to keep it dry (relative humidity of 20% or lower) to ensure optimal printing results.
Unique feature: PolyMide™ CoPA provides excellent dimensional stability during printing with near-zero warpage.
Print with ease: Unlike other nylon filaments, PolyMide™ CoPA is extremely easy to use. Compatible with most 3D printers and requires no heated platform!
Rugged and durable: PolyMide™ CoPA’s superior mechanical strength and toughness make it the best engineering material choice for your creative ideas!
Heat resistance: PolyMide™ CoPA only softens at temperatures up to 180°C, making it one of the most heat-resistant 3D printing materials on the market.
Note: It is recommended to replace the printhead with a stainless steel or hardened nozzle. If you already own an Ultimaker 3D printer, purchase a CC printhead separately. This material is abrasive to brass nozzles .
