Bambu carbon fiber stickers have a very subtle texture, similar to real carbon fiber. This pattern is transferred to the first layer of the 3D printed model, creating a 3D effect with a unique texture, especially when used with the gray carbon filament color.

How to install Bambu 3D effect stickers

remind
1. The 3D effect stickers are not pre-applied to the steel plate and must be manually installed before use.
2. For best results, it is recommended to apply the Bambu 3D effect sticker only to official Bambu Lab steel plates.
3. The Bambu work platform can also be used to apply Bambu 3D effect sheets. If you plan to apply a 3D effect sheet to an existing print platform, make sure to remove the previous effect sheet and thoroughly clean all glue residue before installing the 3D effect sheet. Ensure the surface is dry and clean before application.
4. When using Bambu 3D effect stickers, please set the board type to smooth PEI/high temperature board and carefully follow the Heatbed recommendations.
5. 3D effect patterns require a clean surface to remain visible; grease can cause the pattern to disappear, so keeping the surface clean is crucial. Bambu Lab recommends cleaning with hot water and detergent and avoiding contact with the surface.
Precautions
1. Due to reflections, LiDAR calibration will not function as expected when using effect tables. We recommend skipping the LiDAR calibration sequence or using a standard plate for calibration.
2. 3D effect sheets are considered consumables. To extend the lifespan of the transfer texture, try placing the printed object in different areas of the sticker.
3. Do not apply glue to the surface of the board.
4. Be extra careful when using a scraper to remove marks to avoid damaging the sticker surface.
Recommended settings
1. Bambu Lab recommends using PLA and TPU filaments for printing. Please note that other slicer settings may need to be adjusted depending on the printed model and filament requirements.
2. For X1 series users, when printing 3D effect stickers, please disable print platform position detection in "Settings -> Print Options -> Enable Print Platform Position Detection" to avoid error reports.
