The Original Prusa XL is a large CoreXY 3D printer with a print volume of up to 36 x 36 x 36 cm. It features up to 5 independent printheads and automatic calibration by system sensors, eliminating the need for constant recalibration and making it easy to print various objects. The XL is equipped with the new Nextruder, a completely redesigned extrusion printhead system with a zero-backlash cycloidal gearbox, hot-swappable nozzles, and a fully automatic first-layer calibration system, eliminating the need for manual calibration and Z-axis adjustment.


The Prusa XL's modular heating platform improves print quality, replacing a single, large heating platform that is prone to warping with a series of smaller, individually controlled sections. When printing smaller objects, only the necessary sections of the heating platform are activated, making the XL more energy-efficient. Like other Original Prusa 3D printers , it uses proven double-sided spring steel plates for easy maintenance and removal of printed products. Nextruder
Nextruder uses built-in electronics, with a dedicated CPU and stepper driver directly in the printhead, controlled via a single connector for easy maintenance; the fan, thermistor, heating block, and printhead extruder motor are all directly connected to the circuit board inside the printhead. 
Automatic calibration
Built-in sensors within the heatsink can measure the physical load within the heatsink and probe the printing surface using nozzles; the XL can utilize a weighing sensor system to perform extremely accurate height calculations for the first layer.

Up to 5 independent nozzles
Five independent printheads, with automatic calibration and high-precision printhead replacement via system sensors, eliminating the need for tedious calibration procedures! Easily print on water-soluble substrates , and can print in up to five colors, or use a variety of different materials.
Rigid CoreXY structure
The Original Prusa XL is a large CoreXY 3D printer with a print volume of up to 36 x 36 x 36 cm. It is equipped with up to 5 independent printheads and its system sensors can automatically calibrate, eliminating the need for constant recalibration and making it easy to print a variety of objects.
Power outage recovery
XL has a power failure recovery function. If a power failure occurs, XL will record the last position of the extrusion nozzle. When the power is restored, the machine can accurately resume operation from the point of interruption.

PrusaSlicer software
PrusaSlicer is a built-in slicing software that supports generating, cutting, and automatically allocating 3D models, and can instantly convert 3D models into print archive formats.
