Founded in 2009, MakerBot was one of the first companies to develop FFF/FDM 3D printers. In 2010, MakerBot became the first company to showcase a 3D printer at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and today, 3D printers hold a prominent place at trade shows, attracting numerous 3D printer R&D companies every year.
