[3D Printing News] Visiting the Shanghai TCT Asia 2018 3D Printing Exhibition

From March 1st to 3rd this year, there will be a grand 3D printing exhibition in Shanghai - TCT Asia 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Exhibition. 3DMart certainly did not miss this opportunity to get the latest 3D printing information, and made a special trip to Shanghai to bring you first-hand news and information on various new machines.

The TCT Asia exhibition has been held three times so far. The exhibition covers 3D printing, additive manufacturing, 3D software (CAD/CAE), measurement tools and traditional manufacturing technologies, and is committed to promoting the application of 3D printing technology in the design, development and manufacturing of various industrial fields.
With the continuous growth of the Asian region and its increasing international influence, TCT Asia has officially become one of the major 3D technology exhibitions. This visit also revealed that many well-known 3D printer manufacturers from various countries participated in the exhibition. The overall quality of exhibitors has also gradually improved compared to the past, proving that the Chinese market is gradually gaining international attention.

The promotional billboard is very lively and well-designed.

Next, let's enjoy some great photos from the exhibition!
Arriving at the TCT exhibition venue located in the Shanghai International Expo Center, we found that there were a lot of exhibitors. We spent about an hour just waiting to get in.

Not long after entering the venue, we saw our agency brand, Ultimaker (exhibited by a distributor). Its silver, white, and black color scheme had a very modern and technological feel.

There was a 3D printing sample we provided at the event, an air jet gun from JSPB (which was also showcased at the previous Makerfaire exhibition).
Next to it is the currently trending 3D printed model of the Travel Frog; the two, one big and one small, look so adorable together!

Next up is Polymaker, a wire manufacturer known for its alcohol polishing machines . At this exhibition, they also unveiled many of their latest products, including new versions of nylon wires and wire storage boxes. We will continue to release the latest product information to you in the future.

The booth of Shining 3d , the brand we represent, was also very lively. Many visitors were interested in the Einscan pro+ 3D scanner and other demonstration machines. Currently, the 3D scanner software is constantly being updated and improved, making the scanning process smoother, faster, and more accurate.

Chinese wire manufacturer esun also participated in the exhibition, displaying their wires in a row, allowing visitors to clearly see all the materials they manufacture.

EOS is a world-renowned leading brand of 3D printing technology in the metal and polymer materials industry. Their machines are of high quality from Germany, and naturally, the price is also high (extremely expensive!!).

Markforged showcased its latest metal 3D printer, a large machine that requires additional equipment.

The samples displayed by the 3dtalk brand were the most impressive, with exquisite Sun Wukong models, robots, and alien monsters, making it feel like stepping into an art gallery, offering a dazzling aesthetic experience.

3D Systems, a 3D printer brand from the United States, also showcased many 3D printing samples and launched its latest small 3D printer model.

Renishaw, one of the world’s leading engineering and technology companies, has expertise in precision measurement and healthcare.

HP, a world-renowned printer brand, showcased a large-format, full-color powder molding 3D printer.

The American brand Stratasys is also a well-known 3D printer manufacturer, and I personally think their exhibition booth was very beautifully and stylishly designed.

The eye-catching drones paired with extrusion 3D printers conveyed to exhibitors the novel concept that this technology might be used to build buildings in the future.

Taiwanese manufacturers Aurora and Cometure also participated in the event, showcasing their 3D printers and 3D scanners.

These are some of the great photos from our Shanghai exhibition trip!
Many of the manufacturers we contacted this time are preparing to become agents for more high-quality 3D printer brands. Please keep an eye on our website for more news soon. We look forward to the day when the new models arrive at the SanDiMa office and meet you.
