[3D Printing News] Ultimaker Competition Awards Ceremony Part 2 - Chung-Ho High School

Previously, Ultimaker held an educational challenge competition to encourage 3D printing education. Another winner from Taiwan came from Zhonghe High School.
Just yesterday, 3DMart held an awards ceremony and a complete machine training course with generous prizes and certificates.
We received a warm welcome from the school that day. The enthusiastic and cheerful Principal, Ke Ya-ling (pictured), and the library director, Guo Hui-min (pictured left), chatted with us about many educational philosophies and expressed their gratitude for the resources that this event brought to the school.

Later, the directors gradually joined in the chat, and everyone was very happy. Once everyone was present, our formal awards ceremony began!

The award was presented by our General Manager Artem on behalf of the recipient, who was the beautiful and elegant art teacher, Wu Jiapei (second from right).
The prizes include a high-quality dual-head 3D printer, Ultimaker3 , and eight rolls of Ultimaker original cable of your choice.


There was also a small, adorable trophy that we printed with the Ultimaker3 printer. The level of detail impressed Mr. Wu, who exclaimed that the printing quality was truly excellent.

Now comes the highlight of this trip!
The Ultimaker 3D printer training course starts with simple machine installation and guides teachers step-by-step through how to use it.

Next came the introduction to the print menu, which everyone listened to attentively, even taking photos with their phones to record important parts.

After completing the instructions for operating the 3D printer, you can now prepare to start printing! Prepare the downloaded Cura slicing software and insert your favorite 3D image file.
( It was a switch frame that one of the teachers wanted to print out .) We also explained many settings and functions for slice parameters.

Finally, due to time constraints, I'll first teach you how to clean the printhead. The cleaning method is much simpler compared to other printer brands, which surprised the teachers, who exclaimed how convenient it is!

Many thanks to Ultimaker for organizing this meaningful competition, which rewards teachers with a passion for education and provides us with a valuable opportunity to build a deeper connection with schools in Taiwan. We hope to have more opportunities to work with the education sector in the future so that more students can have the opportunity to learn about the latest 3D printing technology.
