[3D Printing News] 3D Printing of Bicycle Casting Parts
Today, we'll introduce how to use 3D printed parts to create castings, and the exquisite final product.
This time, we selected two parts from a bicycle and first printed them using a 3D printer, specifically using professional industrial-grade printing filament Polycast.
This allows him to achieve the best results during the casting process.
The method is the same as the one used in the previous article about casting the brass head.
We also started printing items using our top-quality Ultimaker printers.

And that's how those pristine white printed items came to be!
The next steps in the machining process will be handled by the foundry workers who will showcase their skills. 
The stainless steel castings created using 3D printing are almost identical to the parts you see in hardware stores!

The smooth and shiny surface of the parts after polishing and grinding is like silver jewelry, with no flaws in the details. The final appearance is amazing and the parts can be sold on the market. 
It's hard to imagine that parts that used to require expensive mold making and a lot of time to complete can now be finished using 3D technology.
The process of printing out part designs with a printer and then sending them to the foundry for post-processing can be completed in just a few days, greatly reducing the waste of money and time.
