[3D Printing News] A super mini model-making helper: 0.25mm nozzle test and printing sharing.

Ultimaker recently launched two new products, one of which is a new detachable cable (support) . They recently shared printed prototypes .
The other one is the 0.25mm AA printhead . Today, I'll be sharing with you the exquisite models printed using this ultra-fine nozzle!

Let's take a look at the pentagonal cube printed by the Ultimaker3 3D printer using a 0.25mm nozzle. The geometric model is printed with PLA transparent filament , and the finest edge line is only 1.2mm. The ingenious layer-by-layer stacking design allows for printing in one go without the need for supports.

The printed pentagonal cube is nice to hold and play with. It's shaped like a dice, and my hand feels itchy to throw it. Perhaps I won't get enough of playing with it during the Lunar New Year ?

Do you feel that printing only 1.2mm at the finest edge doesn't fully utilize the capabilities of the 0.25mm nozzle? No problem, we understand your concerns, so we printed an even smaller model to fully leverage the nozzle's advantages.

This is a super mini electric drill model, with the thinnest edge only 0.28mm. It uses green PLA with PVA support material. For the BB nozzle, a 0.4mm nozzle is recommended.
(※Please note: Ultimaker does not offer 0.25mm BB nozzles!)

The actual printed model looks tiny even next to a ten-dollar coin, and every detail is printed!

This is amazing!!! You might not believe that all of them were printed. To prove the level of detail, we brought out our old electric drill (which is actually just a normal size).
Place them side by side and compare them.

See that? I wasn't kidding! Every single detail is printed!

Turning to look at the back, the surface after the melted support is also very intact.
