[3D Printing Application] Print your own sports car and realize your sports car dream!

Everyone dreams of owning a sports car, and you can even print your own! Remember the large brake calipers we challenged you to make your dream car a reality? This time, we've teamed up with the Ultimaker S5 , Ultimaker 3 , and Ultimaker 2+ to show you how we can make your sports car dream a reality!

We are constantly exploring new possibilities for our customers. The main material used for this vehicle body is PLA , which is very easy to print on and does not easily warp, providing a good surface texture. It can also be used with Cura slicing software to showcase the best finished product quality. In addition to the Ultimaker machine , it is also suitable for other FDM machines, making it the most economical choice among general materials, allowing you to print without worry or financial strain.
This time we're using a Bugatti sports car model. As you can see in the picture, the engine has many exquisite details. Now let's take on the challenge!



Since PLA wires can be used with PVA on Ultimaker 3 to form the main body and support, it is very convenient; therefore, the printing of this part covers many applications of water-soluble support, and the picture shows the finished product of the car body hood.



This time, we mainly used monochrome printing followed by assembly to complete the entire model. The overall parts took about two weeks to complete (because the printing schedule was full, we could only print during our free time). Fortunately, we have a variety of machines, so the larger parts could be handled by the Ultimaker S5 . Finally, the assembled tires were also successfully completed!



The assembled car body looks absolutely stunning! We chose an orange and black color scheme, but you can choose any color thread you like when printing.




The engine details are also printed out.



Finally, install the tires, and your dream sports car is complete! With Harley Quinn beside you, it's a perfect match of a beautiful car and a beautiful woman!
