As the sole distributor of Ultimaker in Taiwan, SanDiMa sends a special representative to the factory annually for training. This training covers new software and hardware technologies and in-house engineers, enabling SanDiMa to provide customers with faster and better professional advice and after-sales service. In response to increasing demand for Ultimaker products and the growing need for 3D printing , Ultimaker's headquarters have been expanding. This year, the special representative visited the new headquarters in Utrecht, the fourth largest city in the Netherlands.
The Ultimaker team currently has 400 employees, but this growth indicates that they need more manpower and therefore require a larger location closer to the city center as their headquarters. "Utrecht is an excellent location that can provide a business center, social functions, and various entertainment options," emphasizes Marrit Hoffmans, a product marketer.
In addition to relocating its offices to a new location, Ultimaker has revamped its brand image, presenting a clean, modern, and professional visual style; much like its new offices, this reflects Ultimaker's future scope and development direction. Occupying two entire floors of the office building, Ultimaker 's offices are conveniently located next to Utrecht station, making it easy for clients to visit and travel to and from the airport; the interior features an open-plan space and modern design, perfectly embodying product value and Ultimaker 's corporate philosophy.
Although Ultimaker has relocated to a new city, its manufacturing plant remains in the small towns of Geldermalsen and Zaltbommel in the Netherlands, adhering to EU standards for 3D printer manufacturing quality. Currently, the free software Ultimaker Cura has over 500,000 users monthly and prints approximately 1.4 million items weekly. In the future, users of Ultimaker will enjoy more systematic services.
