[3D Printing News] Bambu Lab's recent 3D printing competition—come and participate!

Bambu Lab recently hosted three 3D printing competitions: the "Mother's Day Design Festival," the "Amazing Precision: 0.2mm Nozzle Design Challenge," and the "Animal Frenzy Design Festival." The prizes are Bambu Lab gift cards. Anyone with an FDM 3D printer , regardless of whether they are a Bambu Lab user, can participate—and it's completely free! The three competitions are described below:

With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's time to celebrate the most important women in our lives! In this competition, Bambu Lab invites you to design a sincere and meaningful gift for mothers everywhere.

The organizers hope that the entries will be full of love, gratitude and appreciation, and consider incorporating elements with emotional value or symbolizing the bond between mother and child.

Potential entries include: • Greeting cards
Custom -made jewelry
• Mother sculpture or decoration
• Gift wrapping
• Elegant accessories

Important Note: Your entry will be deleted if it is unrelated to the Mother's Day theme.

Furthermore, we've encountered an increasing number of "low-quality" entries in recent competitions. Please note that these models have a negligible chance of being reported or selected as winners. Entrants are advised to take the time to prepare their entries, including attractive images and descriptions, to maximize their chances of winning!

Bambu Lab also reminds everyone to avoid adding irrelevant models to the competition, as these models will be removed and repeat offenders will have their accounts blocked.

They're beautiful, not wasteful, and are rare gifts that you'll find on the market. We believe the recipient will love them! The goal of Bambu Lab's challenge is to showcase the exceptional precision and accuracy achievable using the Tuozhu 0.2mm nozzle for printing through submissions. Whether it's an exquisite sculpture or a practical sign, everyone is encouraged to upload models featuring intricate structures or complex micro-elements to demonstrate the outstanding detail of FDM printers .

The only requirement for entry is that it must include an actual photograph printed using a 0.2 mm nozzle . The judging criteria will focus on whether the printed model can challenge the traditional notion that "FDM printers cannot achieve high-precision printing."

Some potential entry ideas include:
• Game tokens/mini-figures
• Dollhouse furniture/tableware
• Tabletop game tokens (such as chips, dice, etc.)
• Footwear
• keycap
• Miniature architectural replicas (focusing on the presentation of detailed components)

To ensure the quality of your entries, here are some tips for successful printing using a 0.2 mm nozzle:

1) Ensure your cable is completely dry.
2) Ensure you minimize the layer height for your design. When printing with a 0.2 mm nozzle, the model layer height should not exceed 0.16 mm.
3) You may need to reduce the printing speed.
4) Please ensure that you check the compatibility of the cables before printing.
