[3D Printing Applications] DIY Exhibition Props Using 3D Printing

Do you all remember the 3DMART exhibition at Makerfaire in Huashan not long ago?

Actually, we had a homemade 3D printing prop at the exhibition; did you guys notice it?

This is it! What exactly is this uniquely shaped gray object at the exhibition booth?!

The answer lies in the fixture that helps attach the clip-on lights to the exhibition backdrop (see the top of the first backdrop). Our clever colleagues designed this unique shape.
This allows him to fit into the grooves on the exhibition backdrop, while the opening in front allows the clip-on lamp to be clipped on top.

We used a total of 3 clip lights, so we used a 3D printer to print out these 3 small props, which were then inserted into the grooves. Not only could they be adjusted to the desired location for light, but they were also very easy to remove.


If viewed from directly below, it should look like this. The light can be securely clipped to the fixed prop, and the 3D printed object (PLA) is very light, so it will not put any burden on the backplate.
