The fidget spinner is made of PLA and is printed in one piece using the Ultimaker 3D printer . It requires no assembly and does not use additional bearings (commercially available spindles). It has four axles, all of which can rotate. The internal structure can be seen from the latest version of the Cura 4.0 slicing software. The spindle uses a gradient design similar to a diabolo, allowing it to rotate smoothly without support and without falling off.
Since no supporting structure is needed, we also used Ultimaker 's dual-head system to print some two-color designs. Putting them together makes it easy to see the difficulty of choosing. After all, each person can only take one per day, so if you want to collect them all, you have to come every day! The number of two-color designs is limited, so it's first come, first served.
