[3D Printing News] 3D Printing Car Parts Like This!

When you think of 3D printing car parts, do you just imagine printing small components like gears or screws? Today, 3DMART will show you the level that can be achieved with the Ultimaker 3 Extended 3D Printer.

You probably already have a basic idea of 3D printing.
It's commonly used for making toy models, small parts, and electronic device casings, right...?

However, what 3DMART is printing this time is a SUV Side Mirror!!!!

First, take a look at the sample images. You'll surely feel the powerful sense of speed!

First, let's explain that a side mirror is composed of multiple different parts.
Not only the surface quality of the exterior, but also the internal structural parts must be perfectly reproduced for assembly.
This time, we used the
Ultimaker 3 Extended 3D printer and combined PLA with PVA water-soluble support material for production.
No matter how complex the part structure, you can leave it to us.

Since this was a large model with part sizes exceeding 20cm, we deployed the Ultimaker 3 Extended.

Due to the complex model shape, many overhangs occur during placement. PVA water-soluble support material truly shines here, supporting every part and enabling complete formation with PLA.

After soaking in water....................

The internal structural components are, of course, perfectly reproduced, and the surface quality is also excellent.

Each part is molded with extremely high precision. Enough with the explanations, let's assemble it right away!

For those who attended COMPUTEX, you might have already seen the actual product!!!

Side mirrors : )) If you haven't seen me yet, please come visit 3DMART!
