[Cura Software] Latest version 4.10 released, with 3 new features for Ultimaker firmware!
The latest version of Ultimaker Cura, 4.10, introduces new upgrades for Ultimaker Professional and Ultimaker Excellence (Click here: Ultimaker integrates 5 software solutions, try the Professional version for free!). This further streamlines the 3D printing workflow. Additionally, Ultimaker firmware has been updated to the latest version, improving the stability of material loading and unloading when using the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer and Material Station. After importing a 3D model in Ultimaker Cura, selecting "Ungroup" allows you to 3D print only specific parts of the model individually. Also, with "Per-model," you can simultaneously apply and adjust different material settings for each model. (This feature is for Ultimaker Professional and Ultimaker Excellence users and is only available for Windows.)
In addition to the Ultimaker Cura update, the Ultimaker firmware has also been updated to further improve user efficiency by addressing traditional challenges with 3D printing filaments and 3D printers. Here are the three newly added features:
.Material profiles: Import from USB without network
Previously, when using third-party 3D printing filaments, you had to use Ultimaker Cura on an internet-connected PC to install material profiles on an Ultimaker 3D printer. After the firmware update, you can directly upload and install them by simply inserting a USB stick, allowing you to work without interruption even without a network connection.

(Operation steps: Select Settings Menu > Import Material Profiles, and the system will automatically recognize and allow you to start 3D printing.)
.Automatic material deprime keeps the filament path clean
Updating to firmware 6.5 enhances the system of the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer. After each 3D print or material change, the system automatically detects the state of the 3D printing filament tip, and the Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle performs and enhances "Deprime" processing.

This allows the filament to be unloaded cleanly and without stringing, and returned to the Material Station. This effectively prevents material jams and friction-related issues, contributing to the extended lifespan of the 3D printer.

.Addressing ER998 errors
ER998 (or ER27) is a system-wide error. Previously, if an ER998 error occurred before a firmware update, the touchscreen would lock up and become inoperable, requiring a restart of the machine to clear the error. If a 3D print was in progress, it would have to be interrupted.

Now, there's no need to restart the machine. You can simply click the "Refresh" button in the menu to refresh the 3D printer's status, significantly improving the success rate of 3D printing.
