1. Introduction to Contents
When you unbox the unit, you will find the following contents:
 
2. Laser workbench (already connected to the main unit with a fiber optic laser cable. Please be careful not to bend the cable when moving.)
3. USB cable
4. Power cable
5. Foot switch
6. 163mm lens (included in the inner box), 175mm lens (standard)
7. ProMark dedicated software

 


2. Cable Connection
Connect the following three cables to their respective connectors on the back of the main unit.
 
1. USB cable
2. Foot switch
3. Power cable
 


3. Power On/Off
The FLUX ProMark unit has three buttons. After connecting the cables, you can easily turn the power on/off by following these steps:
 
1. Power on sequence: from left to right (power off is from right to left)
2. Open the lens protection cap.
3. First, power on the FLUX ProMark unit, then launch the ProMark dedicated software.
 

 

4. Laser Focusing
Before starting laser engraving, align the two red laser pointers projected from the lens to focus.
 
1. Use the rotating handle on the laser workbench to adjust the position of the two red laser pointers.
2. Rotate until the two laser points are completely superimposed.
 

 







5. Software Settings
Launch the FLUX ProMark dedicated software and set the parameters according to the lens used (163mm or 175mm). The settings vary depending on the lens used.
 

1. In the software, open "File" > "System Parameters" > "Working Area".
2. Enable "Show Working Area".
3. 163mm lens setting:Bottom-left coordinates X: -55, Y: -55 / Working area: Width 110mm, Height 110mm
4. 175mm lens setting:Bottom-left coordinates X: -100, Y: -100 / Working area: Width 200mm, Height 200mm
 
 



6. Calibration
Before performing metal marking, calibrate to ensure the accuracy of the engraving size and stable operation of the device.
 

・Parameter Adjustment
1. Click "Parameters (F3)" at the bottom of the software screen and open "Set Parameters". (163mm lens: 110mm / 175mm lens: 200mm)
2. Check "Galvano 2 = X".
3. Check "Galvano Center".
 

 

・Test Marking Size
1. Create a 10 x 10mm calibration square.
2. Click "Red Laser (F1)" to project the laser calibration frame and confirm the actual marking range.
3. Click "Engrave (F2)" to start marking. After processing, measure with a ruler, and if the size is 10 x 10mm, calibration is complete.
4. If there is a size error, adjust the magnification from "Parameters (F3)" > "Set Parameters".
 

7. Loading Engraving Data
1. Click the "Image" icon to load the engraving data.
2. Adjust the position and size within the working area according to your needs.
3. Set the power and speed (do not use default settings).Recommended settings: Power 70-100 / Speed 500-1000
4. Click "Red Laser (F1)" to preview the actual marking position.
5. Place the workpiece within the laser preview range. Alternatively, you can drag and adjust the data to the actual processing position on the software. (*Please be careful not to exceed the working range of the lens.)
 

 

8. Start Engraving
1. Ensure the data and workpiece are correctly positioned.
2. Click "Engrave (F2)" to start processing. (If the foot switch is connected, processing will start by pressing the pedal.)
3. After marking is complete, wipe the surface with alcohol and tissue to finish.
4. Metal dust will be generated during processing. Always wear a mask and avoid looking directly at the laser beam for safety.
 

 

9. Power Off and Maintenance
1. After marking is complete, lightly blow off dust from the lens with an air blower to prevent dust adhesion.
2. Close the lens cap.
3. Exit the software.
4. Power off sequence: from right to left (power on is from left to right)
 

10. Processing Samples
We performed metal marking on an iron ruler and engraved the 3DMart logo (size: 40 x 15mm). The processing time was only 3 seconds. The small text "Digital Manufacturing Solutions" is approximately 1mm high, but the details are reproduced clearly and with high precision.
